Tanzania 

Tanzania is to me the largest symbol of Africa. Here you will find the Maasai people who live in the Maasiamara alias Serengeti. At the entrance to The Serengeti you will find The Nongorogoro Crater; the largest crater in the world. And of course The Serengeti is the highlight of Tanzania, that is if you like the wildlife and magnificent animals. We lived in tents in the middle of The Serengeti, and there was no fence or guards or protection from the wildlife. One night I heard some noise outside my tent and through a little hole I saw a large male elephant only a few feet away. Now that’s wild life!! I can only recommend this marvellous country, so go there and turn up your expectations!
