Thailand

Thailand was one of the only countries in Asia that never was colonist by greedy Europeans and that makes it quite a unique country, since there is no western influence. Of course things change fast and so does Thailand, but when you are there you sense there is a difference. Everything is done the Thai way. Unfortunately I only spend a month in Thailand. The wonderful time there made me wonna come back. I visited the tropical part, which is the southern peninsula. I had hitch hiked my way up through Malaysia, and was overwhelmed by the friendly faces I first met when I crossed the border to Thailand. When I then arrived at the beaches I was even more overwhelmed by the beauty and diversity. You find these fantastic rock formations in the water, see for you self below. A final salute to Thailand; one of the most pleasant countries I have visited.
