Venezuela

My first trip overseas was in 1992. Six crazy young friends had decided to go to Venezuela for three weeks. It was a splendid vacation that had everything you could ask for. We spend two weeks on Isla Margarita and five days on the mainland; in the jungle. On a bar(and there were many) we one night met a fellow who had a sailboat and suggested us to go with him to a little deserted island one degree west; called Blancia for the clear water surrounding it. And so we did!! We even made it to Columbia for a short visit. South America is the only part of the world that I havent explored all that much, but it is always nice to have something to look forward to.
